Please note: brand is to be established and content is to be provided. We will not begin a project without a basic brand identity (name, logo, and specs). If you need help with this, we can point you in the right direction!
Once communication has begun, we send you a creative brief that you can complete online. This helps give us an idea of your online vision, brand, and helps us understand more what your project is about before our initial meeting.
We setup a time to chat more. This can be in person, via phone, or video conferencing - whatever works best for you! We will get to know each other, review the creative brief, ask questions, and talk next steps.
We establish a timeline and budget. From here, a contract will be written and signed.
We request a deposit before we commence work on a project. This can be paid via cheque or e-transfer. Special arrangements can be made if this is not possible, so please don't hesitate to ask.
Depending on the scope of the project, we send mockups of the website design for your review and approval before development begins.
We now bring those designs to life in the development phase. Based on the agreed upon timeline, we send a first draft of the website. Where content is lacking (or has yet to be sent), there will be dummy text and stock photos in place.
This is phase two - populating content. At this point, we may have received content or perhaps it is still being written. We have content writers on our team who can help if writing is difficult.
We work through 3-5 rounds of revisions.
Once the site is complete, and you are happy with the final product, we prep for launch on the interwebz!
Work on your website does not end once the site goes live. The Internet is a wonderful place, however technology is constantly evolving. To keep your website running smoothly (and to keep the hackers out!), it needs to be continually maintained and updated to ensure the latest version of all applications and softwares are running smoothly. It is essential to regularly update your website to keep it healthy and accessible to search engines.
How does this work?
Your site will be serviced every three months (quarterly). We will run an update of your website in addition to a backup. *Please note: you are welcome to contact us anytime for changes/revisions and general support; it is only the updates and billing that will occur every four months (or as requested by you).
